System
The sliding sunshade consists of a rail and bearing system installed on the inside top edge of the windshield, as well as on the sides (above the doors). This allows the sun visor to slide sideways, forward and backward to adjust its position according to the location of the sun. In addition, the sun visor is made of a flexible material that adapts to different positions and curves of the vehicle. In a typical solution, two sunshades are arranged on that rail: one designed to protect the driver and one for the co-driver. Since they must cover different seats, they will not coincide in their position, except when both need to be at the end of the rail. In that case, the sun visor that reaches that position will perform the function of both.

In addition, the sun visor is made of a flexible material that adapts to different positions and curves of the vehicle. Since they must cover different seats, they will not coincide in their position, except when both need to be at the end of the rail. In that case, the sun visor that reaches that position will perform the function of both.
The sensor, upon detecting the position of the sun, sends a signal to the controller, which is connected to the windshield of the vehicle equipped with smart glass. Pressing a button on the car's dashboard not only automatically adjusts the sunshade to avoid glare for the driver, but also adjusts the opacity of the windshield glass according to the intensity of the sunlight. This technology is common in photovoltaic applications and contributes significantly to driving safety and comfort.
In addition, the sliding system, sensor and controller are linked to the vehicle's electrical connections, ensuring proper power supply to these components.
To use the sliding sun visor system, both the driver and front passenger must rely on the system, which will automatically adjust the position and angle of the sun visor to efficiently block sunlight and prevent glare.
